23-12-2015 Drake & Scull consolidates premier position in UAE’s engineering sector with AED 121 million EPC project win in Dubai

Company secures AED 2.65 Billion in Project Awards Year to Date

 

[UAE, December 23, 2015] - Drake & Scull Engineering (DSE), the subsidiary of Drake & Scull International PJSC (DSI), a regional market leader in the integrated design, engineering and construction disciplines of General Contracting, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), Water and Power, Rail, Oil and Gas, and Water and Wastewater Treatment, has announced that it has secured a AED 121 million EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) contract to design and install a chilled water distribution network for a prominent mixed use development in Dubai. The AED 121 million project win has helped DSI achieve AED 2.65 Billion in Total Project Awards across MENA and Asia, year to date.

 

Under the terms of the agreement, DSE will design and build an underground chilled water pipe network in the mixed use development which will feature pre-insulated pipes varying in sizes ranging from 100 mm to 1,200 mm for an approximate total length of 32 km. In addition, DSE will also deliver all related civil works with a scheduled completion slated for 2018.

DSE was formed through a strategic merger of Drake & Scull’s traditional MEP and Water & Power (WP) businesses under one specialist entity. Drake & Scull achieves AED 2.53 Billion in project award wins in 2015

 

 

[UAE, December 9, 2015] - Drake & Scull Engineering LLC (DSE), a subsidiary of Drake & Scull International PJSC (DSI), a regional market leader in the integrated design, engineering and construction disciplines of General Contracting, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), Water and Power, Rail, Oil and Gas and Water and Wastewater Treatment, has announced that it has been awarded a AED 245 million contract to deliver MEP works for a project in Abu Dhabi.

 

Under the terms of the agreement, DSE will render Engineering, Detailing, Procurement, Testing, Commissioning, and Handover services for the project’s MEP, Fire Protection and Natural Gas Systems.

24-11-2015 Drake & Scull secures AED 131 million project wins in Abu Dhabi and Dubai

Drake & Scull Engineering to deliver a prominent high rise tower in Abu Dhabi and two district cooling plants in Dubai

 

[UAE, November 24, 2015] - Drake & Scull Engineering LLC (DSE), a subsidiary of Drake & Scull International PJSC (DSI), a regional market leader in the integrated design, engineering and construction disciplines of General Contracting, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), Water and Power, Rail, Oil and Gas and Water and Wastewater Treatment, has announced that it has been commissioned to deliver Mechanical and Lighting works for a mixed-use residential and commercial tower in Abu Dhabi and two district cooling plants (DCP) in Dubai for a combined contract value of AED 131 million. The project wins sustain DSE’s momentum of securing prestigious projects across the region in 2015, raising the value of total project awards to AED 2.4 billion.

 

Under the terms of the first agreement, DSE will supply and install the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Building Management, Fire Fighting, Water Supply and Drainage Systems, as well as Lighting fixtures for a mixed use tower based in Abu Dhabi. Work on the project has already commenced with an estimated handover scheduled for 2018.

 

Under the terms of the second agreement, DSE will supply, install, test and commission the Mechanical, Fire Suppression, Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and Electrical services of the two plants’ Water Cooled Chillers, Cooling Towers and Building Management System in Dubai. The two district cooling plants have been designed to offer a combined 6,750 Tons of Refrigeration. DSE’s work on both projects will commence in January 2016 with a scheduled handover during Q4 2016.

Drake & Scull pioneers the integration of modern technology in its business services

 

[UAE, October 22 2015] - Drake & Scull International PJSC (DSI), a regional market leader in the integrated design, engineering and construction disciplines of General Contracting, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), Water and Power, Rail, Oil and Gas, Water and Wastewater Treatment, and du, the fastest growing telecommunications service provider in the Middle East, today announced a business services agreement between the two companies.

The two companies will focus on connecting DSI’s regional offices through International Leased lines to DSI’s ISO 27001 certified Data center based in the Dubai Internet City in the near future.

21-10-2015 Nakheel awards Drake & Scull subsidiary Gulf Technical Construction Company AED 353.75 million general contracting deal for The Circle Mall in Dubai

Drake & Scull secures AED 2.43 Billion in project awards year to date


[UAE, October 21, 2015] - Drake & Scull International PJSC (DSI), a regional market leader in the integrated design, engineering and construction disciplines of General Contracting, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), Water and Power, Rail, Oil and Gas, Water and Wastewater Treatment, announced that UAE based major real estate developer Nakheel has awarded Gulf Technical Construction Company (GTCC, Drake & Scull’s general contracting subsidiary) a AED 353.75 million contract to build the Circle Mall located between Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Al Khail Road and Hessa Street in the Jumeirah Village Circle. Conceived as a new leisure destination for residents and tourists in Dubai, the project will cater to the retail requirements of residents living in the Jumeirah Village and its surrounding areas.

 

The Circle Mall will comprise 235 shops, a multi-screen cinema, a health clinic, cafes, restaurants and a food court, spanning more than 432,000 sq. feet in total built up area. Nakheel has stated that about half of the leasable space has been reserved by retailers with tenants including Spinneys, Oscar Cinemas, Sports Market, Early Learning Centre, Mamas & Papas, Grand Optics, Tips & Toes, Bare Salon and Supercare Pharmacy.

19-10-2015 Drake & Scull secures AED 224 Million project award for a prestigious Hotel Complex and Mall Expansion in Dubai

Drake & Scull Engineering to deliver complete MEP services for a 192,000 sq. m. landmark retail destination expansion



[UAE, October 19, 2015]- Drake & Scull International PJSC (DSI), a regional market leader in the integrated design, engineering and construction disciplines of General Contracting, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), Water and Power, Rail, and Oil and Gas, and wastewater treatment, has announced that Drake & Scull Engineering has secured a AED 224 Million project award to deliver essential mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works for a hotel complex and the expansion of a prominent retail mall in Dubai.


DSI has commenced work on the site and will oversee the Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of complete MEP works with a scheduled handover by 2018. The project involves the development of an extension to a prominent retail destination in Dubai whose expanded premises will include a new high rise hotel tower and a low-rise podium that includes a hypermarket, cinemas, and additional retail space, all within a total built up area of 192,000 sq. m.
